Through Life & Legacy
Every Life Matters
"We believe every stage of life deserves to be honoured, and every life deserves to be remembered."
The Vision
Through Life and Legacy helps individuals and families navigate end-of-life with confidence, compassion, and connection—from planning ahead, to caring for someone after death, to preserving the stories that continue to shape generations.
Death is part of life, and when we approach it with openness, care, and intention, it can deepen connection rather than diminish it.
Our Belief
We believe every person deserves to be heard.
That every life matters.
That stories deserve to be remembered.
That future healthcare choices deserve thoughtful conversations—not rushed decisions made in crisis.
That grief deserves space.
That families deserve clarity.
That healthcare can be deeply human.
About - Our Story
Chambrie Wilson
Clinical Nurse Educator | End-of-Life Doula | Home Funeral & Ceremony Facilitator
Through Life & Legacy
I am a Registered Nurse, Clinical Educator and End-of-Life Doula passionate about bringing humanity, dignity and choice back into the experience of dying and death.
Through Through Life & Legacy, I bridge the space between palliative care and death doula support, walking alongside people and families through dying, death and what comes after.
My work encompasses end-of-life guidance, meaningful conversations, care planning and documentation, bedside presence and vigil, life stories and legacy work, family-led death care and home funeral support.
I also provide education and speaking for carers, families, healthcare and aged-care organisations, exploring sustainable caring, burnout prevention, dying, death and the conversations we often avoid. Poetry and reflective practice are sometimes woven into this work as a way of creating space for deeper conversation and connection.
My approach is grounded in clinical knowledge, person-centred care and a deep respect for each person's values, relationships and choices.
I believe families should be supported to care for their people — not simply hand them over.
My work is about helping people understand their choices, feel prepared rather than overwhelmed, and create meaningful experiences around dying and death that reflect who they are and what matters most.
